Casentino* wool field coat with brass twist lock buttons and brass snaps. Outer chest pocket and 2 flap packets. Double vent back with snaps. Ribbed cuffs and internal pockets on both sides. Fully lined - upper body in cotton, lower body and sleeves in viscose. 

*Casentino wool is a historic, rugged Italian wool from Tuscany's Casentino Valley, known for its distinctive fuzzy, curled texture, and exceptional warmth, durability, and water resistance. The cloth is heavily brushed by a process known as rattinatura, which helps to compress it and give it its signature fuzziness, as well as improving its ability to keep you warm and dry.
It was developed around the 14th century and was originally intended for people and animals working outdoors and became part of the iconic look associated with Etruscan civilization,  a sophisticated society, where women enjoyed more freedom than in other ancient cultures.
